Of course Wal-Mart's are gonna have long lines. Its one of the few places with midnight purchasing and therefore one of the first places you will be able to get a system regardless whether you preordered or not.

It doesn't reflect real shortages. Time will tell tommorrow.

i had heard that target was going to do the wii stuff at 7am instead of 8 when they open, so i went to a target here in charlotte at 6:30ish...the guy at the front of the line was makin a list and said they had 28 wii's there, and i was #29 in line. i stayed though. the whole 7am thing was a load of crap, but it worked out cause they actually had 39 wii's at that target, so i got there early enough to get in that 39. i'm doin all the updates now.
