after the scene with spartan going into the cryochamber, it goes to a different shot of either their ship or another part of the ship slowly descending towards a blue-green planet. its not much, but provides the lead up for a sequel i guess, or the bungie game Marathon that Halo is based off of. In Marathon the story finds a super human cyborg stranded on a planet, i think. its easy to find on youtube

It's fun as hell to have a Crazy King or Mosh Pit match on the pit and just go up on the turret and mow people down the whole match. Obviously you come in last, but big deal. I just went 33 and 3, only dying when the guy with the rocket launcher caught on to my scheme.

so my friends and i created a demolition derby of warthogs and ghosts and i can not tell you how much fun that was.



we set up a desert map with a minefield in the out of bounds...... holy crap i have not laughed that hard in a long time.

one of my favorite custom games on halo 2 was coagulation with no weapons and only warthogs on map...Truck Wars or Monster Truck, just go around and smash into each other

they say they are working on multiplayer maps, and i'm sure it will cost $5-$10 in the beginning. Hopefully, if they make them required, they will become free.

Knowing the way game companies are treating customers these days however, I would say you will be required to pay, or else play social non-ranked matches that won't require new maps.

I've seen people do that in oddball, they get like 6-7 seconds as they are falling and they spawn in time to get the ball again.

the worst thing i've seen is doing it on oddball on a map where you die out of bounds, like snowbound oddball

they were doing it on epitaph (spelling??) but it has all those shielded windows that u can see through, but not shoot through. so if they saw u on radar they would do it, or if we got first shot, they woud run til they were good to jump off.

its not that serious to have to do bitch shit like this in order to win. i could see if some money was on the line, but wtf do you get for being the best at halo? most people telling you that you have not life (i know this is not true in a lot of cases, but it true in some) and that you are a nerd, blah blah blah. i would say that someone's ethics can really be shown when people do stuff like this to win no matter the reason. on a side note, we were having fun the other day in forge, and nobody knew that i was gong to edit mode flying around and going to player mode when i got right behind them and pwnd them, but of course i did not try to hide it and it was all fun and we all started doing it

what's your win/loss 919?

or experience/games played...I'm at like 82:121+45 (ranked+custom), but recently I've had a lot of matches where i did horrible because of intermittent lag and getting dropped from the match, which takes away exp

so about 50/50 for me right now, definitely gonna be hitting up some peeps to keep the wins coming and not get paired with noobs who have a -17 kill spread

So, a couple of us who play Halo 3 in Wolves Den forged out a version of Epitaph that involves 30 perpetually-respawning explosive fusion coils all resting on top of that central platform... and as soon as someone shoots them the whole inner area of the stage turns into a giant clusterfuck of being killed by the guardians.

It's actually fun if you don't mind chaos and random death. We played it with single-hill KotH.
