freddy went back to benfica because its the start of preseason there, even bob bradley said it himself. i'll admit he looked rusty in the second game, but he was still 10x better than any of those mids that played against haiti, with exception to stu holden. not that thats saying much.
it'll be good to see davies go to sochaux, i dont know how well the french game suits him, but itll teach him a lot.

He's been given a few chances. He hasn't impressed anyone. He can't get substitute time at Benfica who is low to mid grade Champions League material at best, so he's not the savior of US soccer. If he was smart he would go some place where he could be sure to play. You can't prove anyone wrong on the bench.

He's not terrible, however, he's not starting material even for a US national team and from what he's shown we even have more worthy reserves at the moment.

From someone who lived abroad in Mexico City, was engaged to a girl from there, and saw first hand time and time again how much of an over-inflated ego they have about their national team, I hope we finally stick it to them. They love to bash our lack of soccer history but the fact is they perform poorly on the world stage outside of North and Central America. Plus, not to mention, it disgusts me how we can't host a single game against them in the U.S. in which they don't flood out our stadium. The only safe site over the past 9 years in which when we managed to hold them winless on our soil was in Columbus, Ohio. We must end that streak of losing at Azteca. It is approaching the level of ridiculousness that is Clemson and there 0 for forever in Chapel Hill!!!!!!
