UVA got screwed on a similar sliding into second play last week

UVA guy slid cleanly into second but the ump called intereference for no reason at all and called the double play.

Virginia would have had bases loaded with no outs as they were trying to come back after being down 3or 4 to UC-Fullerton in like the 6th inning.

That call totally ruined any chance UVA had at coming back to win.

And we just got screwed in the completely opposite situation

^the UGA runner slid to the right of the bag at 2nd to take out foschi...he also kicked his legs up at foschi somewhat. By rule in college, if you don't slide at the bag, its an automatic double play
