It just goes to show how far NC State basketball has fallen if there is a segment of our fanbase that relishes just making the NCAA tournament as if that's the pinnacle of success.

Under Sendek, this is the best it's gonna get most years. To me you don't play just to make the tourney, you play to win the fucking thing.

You bet your sweet ass I am. And you already know my position on coach Lowe, like it or not, I don't think he will ever be an elite coach, which is of course debatable. We wanted an ELITE coach after Herb right? This experiment with Lowe has gone terribly wrong. If Sendek can build shit ass ASU into a tourney team in such short amount of time, then it can ONLY further aid my argument that we don't have the right man for the job right now, as it has been three years and we are right back to where we were when he left. The wheels are spinning and time is ticking. That's my personal reasoning for rooting for ASU.. can't speak for anyone else.

3 years to start recruiting nationally, get calls from refs, and develop a strong coaching staff (many of whom could easily be HCs at a lot of schools)

thats what goes on at the top of your conference, and it takes a lot more than 3 years

i dont think either Sendek or Lowe are GREAT college basketball coaches...I KNOW Sendek isn't, and I don't think Lowe is although we've seen a much smaller sample size with which to judege...but we have Lowe right now...and just like I would say when Herb was our coach, he is our coach right now, support him...so why all the hate on Lowe?
