Not at all. But he was apart of the chargers at the begining of the season and now he's playing in 2011

^ If he plays this weekend against the Saints, it is due only because Hasselback is hurt. Regardless though the Seahawks will be eliminated by the 2nd Q this weekend.

It would be the perfect NC State shit if Whitehurst took them to the Superbowl.

Great, they can be the least prepared team in football. Maybe it will take them 8 weeks to start playing well next year.

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/feb/09/expect-chargers-franchise-jackson/

how is everyone who has nfl season tickets feeling about renewing this year? i know the nfl is promising refunds for any cancelled games but i'm a bit worried about paying full price to see shane falco suit up...

deadline to renew is february 18th for the chargers

Yeah I'd expect it. Way better use of the franchise tag than Sproles.

risky pick, but I like it

Interesting fact: 70% of the earth is covered by water, the rest by Bob Sanders.

Nice signing. If he can stay healthy (which is extremely far from a given) then it's a huge plus. Hopefully he'll be motivated to prove himself.

They'd be smart to just earmark the biggest half dozen or so games on the schedule and have him play in those, while resting against the Broncos and Bengals of the world.

From wiki

Quote :
"The San Diego Union-Tribune published that "an unspecified difference in interpretation between the league and the Chargers" is holding up the contract, and it could be further delayed by negotiations between the National Football League and the players' union on a new collective bargaining agreement.[6] A Chargers spokesman said that a report on the team's website on March 3 that Sanders had signed was premature.[7]"
