It only matters if you're in the BCS title hunt.

We could go unbeaten, win the ACC, and I think there'd still be little if any chance of us being seriously considered #1 or #2. So don't crap on the AP vote just because they chose to make themselves irrelevant in the national championship picture.

Also, I mildly suspect we lost those two votes because of the overall abysmal performance of ACC schools yesterday.

The way our bi-weeks and thursday night games are falling are really good for us. At no point do we have less time to prepare for a team than our opponent. And I believe that we have several games with more time to prepare. GT is one of them.

Technically Cincinnati has a few more hours to prepare for the game on Thursday as we played Saturday night. Also it is kind of shitty that we play a road game on a Saturday night and then have to play again on Thursday night. Oh well. We'll find out this week if the defense is actually improved and if last week was just a fluke for the offense.

I'm interested to hear the injury report after the game. Sounds like starting tackle Overgaard is out this week after he left during the game.

Our O-line needs Mattes back ASAP. He's been practicing lately.
What is the severity of Overgaard's injury? I didn't see CBS provide coverage on his update.
Is Glennon's knee okay? Never saw an update on that either. I only saw Imhoff and Brosius on the sideline @ UCF.
