I was focused on the close play at first so I can't really vouch for the runner interference call but the call on the fan was pretty legit. Guy swiped his hat at a ball on the other side of the wall on what was almost a sure out.

6^There was this loud old lady for Ole Miss that would start yelling "Throw it in the dirt!" every time one of their batters had a count with 3 balls. She would yell that and their fan section would answer "Dirt!" and they would keep that going before every pitch for the rest of the at bat. Then the William & Mary crowd started doing it too, although I'm pretty sure they were just making fun of the Ole Miss fans. I heard it a few times during our game last night as well.

Pretty stacked Super Regional so far. Out of 16 spots, 11 have been claimed so far. 10 out of those 11 are 1 seeds, with 2 seed Oklahoma as the exception. The last 5 spots all have 1 seeds playing for them. No Cinderellas this year so far. Omaha is going to be fun to watch this year with so many talented teams in the running.

sooo... we play the winner of Oregon/Rice,
then hopefully advance to play the winner of UNC/FAU vs. SC/Liberty?

So, if we beat the winner of Oregon/Rice(jumping the gun) , we are into the CWS correct?

so if we beat Oregon/Rice, how do they decide who our next opponent is? I was looking here:

The bracket is set up for Omaha to where if all national seeds made it, Bracket 1 would be seed 1 vs 8 and seed 4 vs 5. Bracket 2 would be 2 vs 7 and 3 vs 6. So, it is possible for a game vs UNC in our first game in Omaha.

So, if the Beers beat Detroit and Denver beats Atlanta in the American Southwestern Division East Northern, then Milwaukee goes to the Denslow Cup, unless Baltimore can upset Buffalo and Charlotte ties Toronto, then Oakland would play LA and Pittsburgh in a blind choice round robin. And if no clear winner emerges from all of this, a two-man sack race will be held on consecutive Sundays until a champion can be crowned.

It takes the same format as the regionals. Double elimination. Then the winner from each half of the bracket will play best of 3 for CWS title.

Super Regional on left side of bracket The 4 winners of these super regionals will play in pool A
unc/fau vs SC/clempson

NCSU vs oregon/rice

CAL ST FUll vs UCLA

LSU vs Oklahoma

Super Regional on right side The 4 winners of these super regionals will play in pool B

Louisville vs Vandy/GT

FSu vs Indiana

UVA vs Miss St/USA

Oregon St vs Kansas St

SC/Liberty, not SC/Clemson.

and Central Ark. playing Miss. State

(just for anyone who isn't really following. thanks for the nice breakdown though, haven't really paid enough attention to the full bracket yet cause i didn't want to look ahead too much)

I think UNC watered their field with semen. FAU is slipping everywhere, 2 errors in 2 innings so far, and 4 guys have slipped and fallen.

If you are paying more attention to UNC-FAU than Rice-Oregon there is something wrong with you.

Rice's fill-in starter is complete garbage, and their defense isn't any good either.

to be fair, the winner of the ncsu/rice/oregon super regional is matched up with the winner of the unc super regional

Really hope FAU makes them pay for riding Emanuel that long.

Also really hope there were some high school pitchers (and their parents) watching that outing.
