I like how I'm spending hours writing up a section of a manual/document that will never be used by anybody for anything meaningful. Future employees will still ask other employees before referencing this manual, the knowledge we store in here will never be used by anybody, and by the time we get this thing looking halfway decent it will be obsolete as the next revision of the code will be due out in the coming years (and then most of what's in here will have to be edited and rewritten over the years, continually).

I can see why some of the old hands were commenting how they don't appreciate the attitude of somebody who's a n00b telling everybody how we're going to do things. I suppose we can burn our manuals for warmth once SHTF.
