so we don't have our heat on at the moment and it is 64 degrees in our house. I just turned the heat on so hopefully it will be 68/69 in a bit.

^^^i keep my gas heat set so it doesn't come on until it gets down to 58 in the house. try to keep the wood heater going when we're home.

once you get used to it, it's not bad. wear sweatpants, a hoodie, and some good bedroom shoes.

my parents go to the same place every year, and so do their friends, and they've become friends with other families who also go to that same place at the same time every freaken year. for 30 years. it's fun!

well I understand if it's because of the people you know there. I go and visit family every year. But if you have no connection to the place and no friends or family there, then why keep going back? Maybe I'm just more adventurous than some people.

Not every vacation needs to be a sight seeing touristy adventure. Sometimes a vacation should just be an opportunity to relax and do nothing. I've been going to Emerald Isle nearly every summer for as long as I can remember to do just that. Read and relax at the beach.
