Went to Best Buy in Cary at ~5am and was the 56th person in line. They had 87 consoles available and all the spots were gone about 6:30.

Went to Best Buy at Crossroads at 2am...was the 45th person in line. They gave out 84 vouchers at 8am, store opened at 9. The 85th dude was throwing the biggest tantrum, was hilarious...About 20 ppl left empty handed.

Got my Wii and Zelda!

Btw, I'm never doing an overnight camp out again... Besides the fact that it was below freezing, every once in awhile nerds would drive by shouting PS3 rulezz!!!!1 and such. I mean, come on. Seriously.

Wal-Mart worked out the best for me. They only had twenty but I showed up around 5:30 and they still had spots. The even let us inside about an hour to opening. After that the electronics guy told us about a mom and her son, who was in a wheelchair, she tried to push him to the front of the PS3 line.

Yeah man that was hilarious! We were walking to our car and heard the commotion and turned and saw a couple people jumping up and down...congrats though on getting a console! We ended up standing behind those people right before the store opened at 9.

Yeah, well I guess even though it was freezing and I had to wait forever it was still fun and memorable.

this golf game on wii sports is actually pretty fun. baseball was cool too. i cant really figure out how to aim my hits in tennis...i read the instructions but i couldnt get it to actually work.

^^ i haven't broken mine out of the box yet, but do the wii's need to be initially hooked up to the internet for an update before you can play?

you put in the WEP when you select the settings, there are three options for the kind of key, what kind of router do you have

OK...So I set up my internet connection, and it updated. Then it said it needed to update again, but everytime it tries to connect now it gives me an error (WiiConnect24 has some error, try agian later, etc etc). Are Nintendo's servers just down or is it something with me?

Also, for the WEP key...you gotta put in the actual hex key. I tried the password and it didn't work, but the actual key did. At least for me.

wiiiiiiiiiiii...was number 78 at BB in cary...got there at a little before 6. went to target after i got my voucher and got zelda and an extra wiimote and nunchuck. rolled back over to bb about 8:45 and was back home hooking it up by 9:30. meanwhile, my little bro, who had camped out all night, was still waiting for circuit city to open at 10 to get his. haha...good stuff. was in front of lutz in line to get the system and found out that he had gotten one after all. it was a pretty funny scene between him and the girl in front of him who was 84. she was freakin out the whole time about getting one. all in all it was good times but a little cold.

And yeah, I went to the Best Buy on Capital at 7:50 and was 45th in line. They had 63 systems, so after waiting for ten minutes, I got my ticket, went to Target for a while, and came back and got my system. The only downside, really, was having to talk to the people while waiting in line.
