Vasicek failed here last year because he could not keep up with the rest of the team; he failed in Nashville for the same reason. Unless he starts parking his ass in front of the net and showing some grit, he is never going to find the success he had in 03-04.

I think it'd be a mistake to send high-quality prospects for two months of Forsberg, but that's just me. A decent player and a package of picks will be all it takes to ship him to the right team come the end of the month.

Staal's was a powerplay and was pretty cool since his a lot of his family/friends were there. Ladd's was about 30 seconds after Pavol Demitra's goal which gave hope to the comeback.
