A 4 point lead and a 5 point lead both give you the same problem, 2 field goals and you lose. A 6 point lead, however, means you have a tie.

Yeah, 2 was the way to go. They make a FG we are up regardless, they make two and we had the conversion we are tied, they make a TD and XP they are up, TD and miss XP we are tied.

2PT conversion was a good choice.

if we make it, they have to get a touchdown to win and can at least go into overtime if they were to get 2 field goals or miss the PAT.

if we miss it and they end up scoring more, we just lose by 1 more point than we would have.
