I wouldn't think you totally ruined it, but I'm sure it didn't help Maybe next time you should only have a smaller portion and try eating them really slowly?

Do you feel the issue is more about race with your family or about class? If its more about race then do you consider your family to be racists or supremacists since they value one race over another?

^ It's more about race than class I think. I'm not going to lie, they're not perfect and I've heard racist remarks.. That being said though, I don't think I've ever met a person who hasn't said a single racist remark, ya know. But I don't think they're supremacists or anything extreme. My mom and I talked about it once... I asked her what she (and my family) would really do if I brought home a guy of a different color. She said at first she would be really shocked but in the end, I'm still her child, and she would still love me and the thing that matters the most is if they treat me right.

I come from a very small rural town and probably 85% of the people there are racist in some way, shape, or form. This includes people of all color and background. However, most don't even realize the comments they make are racist. So sad

^ Truth. My 93-year-old great grandma still says "That nice colored lady down the street." Although, I honestly don't know if it's really an insult seeing as she's freakin 93 but she's grown up on the same street in Georgia ever since the dinosaurs were around so I don't say anything to her.

For example... I'm not sure if this counts as a true "green initiative" but it bothered me... I was visiting with my boyfriend's sister and her little girl. Emma had this baby book about food. Then you flip it over and ALL OVER THE BACK is tons of advertising for going green. I'm thinking.. SERIOUSLY. IT'S A KIDS BOOK. FOR <2 YEAR OLDS.

^ I hurt myself during a night terror... now I have a freaking hurt wrist. It probably doesn't help that I type all damn at work. : \

I started my diet today too. And if you take that class, please tell me... I would love to do that with you I'm sure it would help with frustration, too. So I say go for it... and tell me what's up.

I went last year to a free class and it was a lot of fun. I think its kind of expensive though but probably worth the money and would motivate me to go. http://www.laboxing.com/cary/default.asp check it out maybe we could try out a free class together?
