I need 14, as well as my opponent to not realize that he has an injured Marion Barber starting.

Alright... I could use some friendly advice for week 4 here:

RB Pick 2:
Clinton Portis - TB
Steve Slaton - OAK
Willie Parker - SD

WR Pick 3:
Mark Clayton - @NE
Braylon Edwards - CIN
Antonio Bryant - @WAS
Mike Wallace - SD

I have Ben Roethliscopter, so I'm considering running the Steelers offense this week. Portis has been dumb, and Parker is tempting. My WRs SUCK: Antonio Bryant is probably still too injured to start. Mike Wallace had his first good game yesterday, so I'm not sure how well he'll do against SD.

help?

Just dropped Pennington for Kolb, waivers process Wed.

Brees has his bye in week 5, so hopefully Mcnabb will only see limited play time then and let Kolb put up some big numbers again.

^^^i already lost week 3 im down 20 and he still has Witten & Dallas D to play... so unless they let Carolina score a bunch and Witten fumbles about 10 times, I think I'm screwed.

C'mon, help me out here, I'm trying to get ready in advance

RB: All 3 have favorable matchups against poor run defenses. I would take Parker and Slaton because they have better QBs that can make the defense play alot of nickel and dime and move the safeties back, giving them more running opportunities. TB can just stack the box since Campbell cant throw deep.

WR: Clayton, Edwards, and Wallace. Clayton has a good QB behind him, Edwards has Anderson taking over for Quinn making him a decent threat again, and Wallace performed well last game and led the team in receptions.

What would you guys trade for LT?

This guy offered me a horrible trade -- I give lt and get driver and carnell williams.

However, what would you give for lt right now? I was going to counter with steve smith (car) for LT. Both underperforming, and he needs Rb and I need receiver.

I face the team with AD in Week 9, which is his bye week. That guy has Steven Jackson as well, who is also off in Week 9.

Ok I need some RB advice (PPR league)

I have currently;

Marion Barber (DAL)
Tim Hightower (ARI)
Ahmad Bradshaw (NYG)
Jonathan Stewart (CAR)

Barber was doing great for me, and I was counting on another good season with Stewart, but so far he has been a dud with this lingering injury. Hightower is good in the matchup games, along with Bradshaw, but I was hoping to pick up a solid runner that I can count on. I was thinking of dropping Stewart, and maybe picking up Coffee or Choice, I could start either of them, and then play the matchup with Bradshaw and Hightower (Bradshaw against a weak run defense, Hightower against a weak pass rush), and hopefully Barber will be healthy by the time Gore is so I can get back to starting him each week. What do you guys think?

tl;dr Drop Stewart for Coffee/Choice?

hold off on choice until the extent of felix jones' injury is known. Coffee is a great option against STL.

Im just hesitant to let Stewart go, he is a solid runner, and when he is healthy, will do well for carolina, but with their weak offensive line, I am not sure their running game can develop into what it was last year.

Someone offered me Cadillac Williams for Hines Ward. I'm in a 2 wr + flex league.

I've got
RB:
Thomas Jones
Reggie Bush
Correll buckhalter
Thomlinson

WR:
Andre Johnson
Mario Manningham
Devery Henderson
Jerricho Cotchery
Hines Ward

Should I make the trade? I kinda am in need of a solid RB with LT being out and Pierre Thomas making Reggie Bush almost worthless.

Here is my situation and my schedule.

My league is 12 man, each team starts 1 qb, 2 rb's, 3 wr's, 1 flex, 1 k, 2 defenses. All td's are 6 points, all yards are 10 to 1, including passing yards. I drafted Brady with my first pick, Schaub got picked up by someone who really didn't want him, and dropped him post week one for Sanchez. I didn't have a backup QB so I jumped at the chance to grab Schaub, ideally wanting to use him for trade bait.

My team is currently 2-1, I'm thinking long term, playoffs -- who has more value? Brady or Schaub? Schaub will be throwing from behind, Brady will be throwing a ton all the same, but he definitely hasn't looked like Brady from two years ago - no thanks to his receivers.

Do I trade Schaub/Brady, or keep both and just play matchups.

QB: Schaub
WR: Colston
WR: Steve Smith (NYG)
WR: Ochocinco
RB: Willie Parker
RB: Knowshon Moreno
TE: Greg Olson
W/R: Donald Brown
Bench: Frank Gore, Brady, Houshmanzadeh, Ladell Betts, Mike Bell (Currently pending for Coffee, I have 7th waiver, won't get him probably), Ted Ginn Jr (Currently pending for Garcon, hoping I might grab him if Coffee doesn't work out)

^^^I really like Schaub if he can stay healthy....look at the Texans schedule when the fantasy playoffs are going on. I personally would trade Brady for a top WR like Fitz with your scoring system and start Schaub here on out.

^^ Because Campbell has been putting up more points last 2 weeks... idk, I am just frustrated with my QBs right now and am likely to make irrational decisions.

FYI, there is a good chance that Dwayne Bowe doesnt play this weekend against the Giants

also, Kevin Smith is hopeful to practice tomorrow and play this weekend against the Bears. Personally, I'm hoping he sits out and doesnt re-injure himself against the bears, he is my RB2 in both of my money leagues

So, I have Rivers as my main QB and Orton as his backup (only plan to use him on Rivers' bye week - week 5- of course).

I just checked to see what other QBs were available to compare the matchup for that week. Trying to decide if there is any better matchup out there in week 5. Do any of these look better than Orton vs New England? They are about the only decent ones I see:

Sanchez vs Miami
Kolb vs Tampa Bay

D-Mac is probably back by then...if he's not, I like Kolb as your best option

Sanchez is winning, but not yet a great fantasy player

I like Orton at home vs a suspect Pats D

Denver's got the best D in the league right now, but an AWFUL upcoming schedule including the pats, the steelers, etc.

the 9ers have a great D and are facing the Rams next week.

Should I pick up Denver knowing that by the numbers they are the best, or should I go with the matchup and pick up the 9ers D at home against the (awful) Rams?

Don't be fooled by the Denver D. Yes, they are #1 in points, but it's early, and it's a product of who they have played more than how they have played.

I like Cincinnati's D, the Saints D, or the 9ers D this week much more than Denver.

So I've started Brady every week and kept Cutler on the bench (saving him for Brady's bye). Unfortunately it looks like Cutler is out performing Brady. Do I go against my better judgment and start Cutler over Brady this week?

I assure you I didnt mean to make my comment sound elitist

you act like I was the one asking for advice, which I obviously wasnt if you read my post, and wanted some sort of advanced advice because it was for my money league. I read a report on a player that I have a vested interest in, came straight here to pass the word along, and then stated a little opinion of my own about the player. I dont see where I was being elitist simply by mentioning that I had the player in a money league, I just think you misunderstood what I was saying

oh well, move on, nothing to see here
