Fairley wasn't much of a factor, but Oregon's offense takes dominant defensive tackles out of the game by running so many quick plays to the outside

iirc the only impactful plays Fairley had were when Oregon was forced to actually 3-step and 5-step drop on passing plays

he was pretty much irrelevant for 90% of the Ducks' offense, which incorrectly led people to believe he wasn't any good, even though no NFL teams run anything like Oregon does

how was that an illegal forward pass? The qb handed it to the RB, who threw it to the feet of a tight end. I think it was an ugly play and decision, but illegal forward pass?

Maybe intentional grounding and a safety I could understand. What a dumb decision though by the RB. I think he thought he was deeper in the endzone. He easily could have lunged out of the endzone.
