0mg lol

just goes to show that Oregon is always ALWAYS overrated in my eyes

Speed is great and all...but they get hammered by teams like this when their offense doesnt work.

The Stanford QB is accurate and a lot faster than you would think.

2 things we need at State BAD

This is Oregon's MO.

It's awesome to be fast, but when a big, physical D is changing the line of scrimmage and able to contain on the edge they look very normal.

Outside of Stanford, there isn't a PAC-12 team that even plays defense, so even if they do somehow pull this out in the 2nd half this is pretty much what you can expect to see if they play Alabama.

this would have been the same result for oregon if they played bama.

so much for the elite oregon defense. honestly i feel like it's been alabama, and then everyone else all season. The only team right now that looks impressive enough on offense to beat bama would be FSU and even then that would be a stretch

I think Ohio State is pretty solid.

OSU, FSU and Bama are all pretty tough to gauge as far as who is the best.

Solid, yes. Title contender, no.

They're going to have 1 win over a team ranked in the top 25... maybe, depends on what Wisconsin does the rest of the way. They've looked pretty average against a ridiculously soft schedule. If they don't make the championship game they have only themselves and their shitty conference to blame.

FSU looks just as good as Bama.

[Edited on November 7, 2013 at 11:07 PM. Reason : every other undefeated has played shit teams all year]

I know, but at the end of the year Alabama will have played Texas A&M, LSU, and Auburn plus whoever they play in the SEC title game.

FSU will at least have Clemson and Miami.

Ohio State may not have team that ends the regular season in the top 25 on their schedule before their bowl game.

I think Oregon's QB is just having a terrible night. He is wildly inaccurate.

Well in that case Texas would be in the discussion.

Ohio State looking unimpressive against a bunch of humps early in the year allowed teams to hop them in the polls. They need a lot of help to get into the title game.

If Bama and fsu win out...that's your title game. End of discussion. Also, Baylor is much more impressive than Ohio state

Quote :
"This strategy was absolutely amateurish and poorly thought out. Let me explain.

I work in public relations for a medium-sized company in a highly visible industry. We are normally covered by industry-specific publications, but we regularly spill over into local and national media. We are also in an industry that is fighting a constant PR battle, and my company in particular has waged a number of public battles against misinformation and bad press. There are certain strategies that work, and then there are some that definitely don’t. Anonymous comments on blogs and message boards are among the strategies that have a significantly higher risk to reward ratio and are thus avoided.

If we are trying to advocate a particular position, we do not hesitate to wade into comment sections or leave responses on blogs. It is always best to directly confront the misinformation you are trying to combat, but it is also important to do it in a straight-forward and honest manner. By responding openly, you give your company credibility and show that you are not hiding from a problem. People are much more receptive to bad news or contrary opinions if you are upfront, honest, and credible in your assertions.

Perhaps more importantly, however, you negate the possibility that it could come out later that you intentionally deceived your audience. Think about it this way: If you care enough about the fan base opinions to plant disingenous comments on blogs and message boards, wouldn’t you be afraid of them if they found out that they had been systematically and intentionally misled? I certainly would be. You are opening yourself up to a world of PR pain for extraordinarily little gain.

So while I agree with you that commenting directly on the message boards is much better than simply issuing a press release, I fully believe that doing it anonymously and deceptively is a piss-poor public relations strategy."

I realize this thread is about selling out, but hear me out, maybe I can offer some insight.

That's not a late hit... No part of the player was down at the time of the hit. Probably could have been targeting, except that he didn't hit the guy with the crown of his helmet. At full speed, it looked like a late hit, but it actually wasn't
