You don't know how long before Vick's hamstring acts up again. Brady got back Gronkowski last week and hit him for 100+ yards, I'd look for a couple TDs out of Brady this week against MIA.

I am considering the same thing (Vick over Brady). Brady/NE offense looks like shit and Vick is playing the awful Giants. The only concern with Vick is him getting hurt again.

Shorts is the best option as he continues to get a lot of passes thrown his way.


Who to start on my awful, awful team: MJD or Mike James. Both are playing good defense.

I might go MJD just because TB and James are coming off a short week. But, ouch...I don't like either option.

And yeah I'm really struggling with Brady/Vick. I was hoping Brady would turn the corner when he got Gronk back. And while Gronk did have a huge game, Brady didn't really show a big jump overall. This league is -4 for turnovers...another reason I'm a little iffy on Vick. But the matchup is enticing

He has Peyton, Rivers and Tony Gonzalez, so not a horrible team, but is 2-4. Just out of curiosity I threw out a trade offer:

He accepted it, and within 10 mins, someone has vetoed it (need 5 vetos of 12 managers to veto trade).

I generally use CBS sports fantasy trade value chart when constructing trades, just as a value type guide. Is this trade really veto worthy?

agreed. Gronk will get ~20 targets. There aren't enough to go around and Thompkins will get lost in the shuffle. Not to mention he only has 77 yards combined over the past 3 games

is andre brown a good pickup to stash? he's practicing again, and I think should be the guy NYG go to given their RB issues.

I picked up Vereen for the same reason, so that'd be two injured players on the bench. but the payoff could be big.

my options to drop are McGahee, K. Thompkins. if Brown plays by week 10, it could help me with byes. I don't have any wk 9 byes, but have 4 wk 10 (thompkins/edelman/vereen/mcgahee)

If you've got WR depth, probably wouldn't lose much by dropping Thompkins.

Can pick up Roddy White but not sure who I'd drop. Considering Allen... would get rid of Miller in a heartbeat if it weren't for needing him next week and the general lack of RB availability of waivers if one of my other guys gets hurt.

Couple posts started to make me question playing Vick but I think I'm still going to start him over Brady. This will mean that Gronk and Amendola will go off and Brady will have 30pt on my bench, but Vick has a good matchup.

What's getting me is whether or not to play Graham in his current state. I wish they would have just deactivated him. I picked up Ben Watson a couple of days ago and there's not much on the wire right now. Rob Housler, Zach Miller are available.

^^ They're talking about him on FF Now as a flex. If I had Reed, I'd probably start him over Graham. Hell any legit TE and I'd probably sit Graham, but it's hard to ignore his potential redzone looks for ~5 points from the rest of the TEs I have access to.
