Actually, I did my best to get the shot at that time when the sun was just behind the cross. It's the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio, so pretty busy square, esp. at that time of day.

That, and cathedrals are usually built slightly imperfect - to enhance the difference between imperfect Man and perfect God.

I see what you mean.

I still prefer mine - it's a little warmer looking; yours is sharper and more contrasted, which is nice. But for me, it kind of takes away from the thing I'm taking a picture of - it's an old Catholic cathedral in an old Spanish town (granted, now its a huge city). To me, its softness is evident of its welcoming presence.

i am leaving for iraq in one month

i have not gotten laid in like 3 months

i will be in iraq for 6 months

if i don't get laid in the next month, there is a very real chance of going for an entire year, because i'm sure it's gotta be next to impossible in iraq...the ratio has gotta be about like an NCSU engineering class.
