I had to get on the stupid shitty elevator in the phytotron to move a bunch of plants, but someone was with me. The damn thing stopped b/t 2 floors. It was awesome. I just kept nervously laughing and possibly scaring the shit out of the person in there with me... someone came and opened it, we crawled out. It only goes 3 stories, but I haaaate it so much

We had a cleaning lady growing up, and I remember having to clean/tidy up the day before so she could clean the actual surfaces.

FINALLY decided what to get the bf for christmas after going back and forth on 1000 things. now i just have to decide for my dad. kindle fire v. restaurant gift cards. i just don't know if he'll use the kindle fire. i mean i THINK he will but he just got an iphone so i dunno...is that necessary? i have an iphone and would still like an ipad or kindle fire though. so i dunno.

i realize i'm last minute and that makes me seem like a poor planner. but really i just over analyze gifts because i want everything to be perfect. any year i've shopped ahead i end up sending stuff back before christmas even gets here because i change my mind. oops.

I got my parents a gift certificate to a really nice restaurant. Figure they can use it for a date night. Activities over stuff ftw.

which is what i ended up getting the bf (plus some other stuff)

i know gift cards are meh for gifts, but they're to do really cool things so...i think he'll be surprised and happy.

some people think gift cards are thoughtless, and others say you should just get people money. but i think gift cards are perfectly acceptable, and the reason is because if i got cash i would probably end up spending it on groceries, a bill, etc. if i have a gift card then i have to do/get something for myself. it's a nice thought.

so the last presents I need to get are for my aunt and uncle, and I guess my dog too, but thats pretty gay, I give her the present of food and love daily so thats good enough
