While we were celebrating Christmas with my husband's family, my dog stayed at my brother's house. We couldn't find her when we went to pick her up this morning. She managed to squeeze out of the gate sometime before we got there and we found her dead in the ditch near the house. Some asshole killed our dog and didn't even have the decency to stop.

I'm am pretty much packed. Just have to suffer through 4 hrs at work tomorrow then I can hit the road to Charlotte to meet up with the hubs and then drive down to GA.
