my heat went out last night, but the fan stayed on and the unit kept trying to heat the house with cold air.

went from 72 to 68 in like 5 minutes

it sucked all the heat out of my bed in the same amount of time

I haven't gotten a call back from the rental office, so I dont know if it's fixed yet

i turn it up in the morning, too. it's part of my morning routine in the winter. but i was soooo cold when i got home i kicked it up a bit, and now i'm warmed up but don't want to get up and change it. partially because i'm lazy, partially because it feels good. mostly because i'm lazy, really.

I got an idea for a dramedy...check this out.

Its three dudes and two chicks, and they live in a fairly big city, but not something like NY or LA. Maybe Atlanta, Dallas...something of that ilk. One of the dudes is an assistant trainer for the local football team and gets inside info on all the injuries, game plans, inside info, etc. One of the other guys happens to be a degenerate gambler. He always presses the trainer friend for tips, but never gets any help. The third dude is a bartender at the local watering hole, and he's mainly there just for one liners and sage advice. Nothing integral to the plot. One of the chicks is a free spirit Zooey Deschanel type who everyone loves, BUT she has a dark past that isn't revealed until a cliffhanger in the season one finale. The other chick is a more street-wise Michelle Rodriguez type, but hotter and not a bitch. Most of the eps are non-serial and involve the hijinks of the crew, but there are several more dramatic eps where conflict arises, coming to a head in the season finale where the trainer friend has too much to drink and gives the gambler friend info on a star players injury, which he uses to place a huge wager on the next game. But it turns out the Zooey character is a criminal mastermind like Jack Bauer's brother in 24 and can fix the outcome of any sporting event, and she makes them lose, and chaos ensues.

Still putting some finishing touches on it, but I hope to start shooting next fall.
