Alcohol hangover still sucks, but the lack of a cigarette hangover is pretty nice


Also, tylers taproom is pretty awesome, but I think I will treat it as more of a place to go for a couple of drinks and dinner, and not for an all night hang out spot- maybe a good first stop before a downtown night

The one I've been to is the one in Apex. It has been a couple of years, but it was nice and the food was good. I really liked that the restaurant and the bar were very separate. One time I went and did the bar thing with friends and another time we had our kid with us and did dinner.

yeah, the new one isn't that separated. It is segmented though- you walk in and are in the dining area, then there is a bar area, then the pool table area which has some dining area behind it. really big building though- I was kind of surprised

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Ryan did not spend the night at my parents' as originally planned. He cried from the time we got home until 3am. I did not have the night off to thoroughly enjoy myself as i had hoped. From now on, if something comes up where we are deviating from the plan from a complete child free evening, I'd rather cancel than go out. Despite how great it was to see everyone, it was not worth it for me.

6 day work week, starting today. Boo! Luckily by the time I get there it will be about an hour until bedtime routine starts. The one advantage to the kids not taking a nap. Baths at 4, dinner at 5, movie after that, and then time to get everyone to the potty, read a book, and tuck them in bed.

I'm a lucky ducky girl! House is clean, food is lined up for the party and just needs to be plated, baby is fed and happy, and Silas is napping. AND I've already cooked dinner for tonight so it just has to be reheated after everyone leaves the party. I think I actually have time to get a nap in before I have to get ready for my inlaws to show up.
