there is nothing wrong with it though. i found a cat once and called a lady who had a flyer up for a similar looking cat. it turned out that it wasn't hers but the next day there was a giftbag on my step with the sweetest note and two watches (one for my roommate). i thought that was so nice.

Pedophile is a word that gets overused and misused to the point where now it's practically meaningless. Pedophiles are people that are sexually aroused by pre-pubescent girls or boys. like 10 year olds. Allowing a 16 year old girl to send you pictures and fuck you shouldn't be lumped in with the same vile behavior as sexual assault on a child. It's not even in the same planet.
