ok so it's now the bowl game is listed on the student ticket website but not yet highlighted...so is this gonna be a lottery thing or what? ...I didn't think it would even be handled by the online system though

it's basically like on-demand tickets but you pay for them. I think it was posted in another thread that it opens at 10am. 12/4/2005 11:42:24 PM |
jcoop Veteran 258 Posts user info edit post |
ok but if it's on-demand, how will you do tickets as a group...I'm sure it will all be cleared up in the morning, but I'd rather worry now instead of studying for exams 12/5/2005 12:02:26 AM |

It's on-demand? I really don't know, but I thought it would be a lottery to see which students would be able to purchase tickets 12/5/2005 10:07:09 AM |
jcoop Veteran 258 Posts user info edit post |
it's on-demand and it says general admission on the page where you purchase them...student tickets are $20, guest tickets are $25 12/5/2005 10:09:07 AM |

So are we going to be able to sit where we want, because there is no group sign up for this?
And Guest tickets are not 25, there is a $5 processing fee for them, so end up 30 when you go to the check out screen

ok I called the ticket office, and of course the guy couldn't tell me anything...he said they will be assigned seats, but I'm not gonna purchase one just to see what it ends up doing. He also said if you purchase them together you will be assigned together as a group....I told him you could only purchase one and then a guest ticket and he said, "oh yeah..well I don't really know"...I'm going by the ticket office later today and probably getting mine through student wolfpack club though 12/5/2005 11:25:09 AM |

you can't cancel guest tickets. So you'd be better off to sell it to someone else who wants to go. 12/5/2005 12:30:57 PM |

I know that for the Gator Bowl, everybody received a voucher. Then we all did will-call the night BEFORE the game in Jacksonville. Whoever you were in line with is who you would sit with. Shoot, if you randomly found people you knew in the will-call line, you could sit together. 12/5/2005 1:37:07 PM |

Is this game all general admission? And will there be an on-demand time? Like I can cancel all my ticetks and then just do it again?

dude, read the thread GA is only on these "tickets" which will be turned in later for the real tickets (so you can show up w/ your friends to get tickets next to each other)
and this entire thing is on-demand...you go online and reserve tickets... 12/5/2005 3:56:07 PM |
jeffshelton All American 864 Posts user info edit post |
so these vouchers will only allow you to get upper level tickets, right? 12/5/2005 3:59:26 PM |

so you buy and print a voucher through the online system... let's assume it is like the last bowl game where you go to will call the night before the game to trade in those vouchers for tickets together...
could one person take a stack of vouchers for himself and all his friends that want to sit together, or do you think that all these people need to show up at will-call ? 12/5/2005 6:49:40 PM |

If they do it like the preseason GA games, it's just that. General Admission. We got there early and as long as you have a student ticket and there is room, go down to the floor and pick a spot. No need for a ticket exchange, you just go with the people you want to sit with. It worked out quite well, no unnecessary empty seats on the floor (unlike the recent home games that were not general admission). 12/5/2005 8:34:59 PM |

So, which setup will it be this year?
Will the WPC have a monopoly on all the sideline seats?
Will a SWPC shirt be required to stand at floor level?

the swpc told us that for sideline seats on the floor in reynolds, they would strictly enforce that you must have on your current swpc t-shirt 12/6/2005 10:56:26 AM |
bmpncsu Veteran 318 Posts user info edit post |
the swpc is only going to have one section that you must have this years shirt on to get in, not the whole sideline. I would hope the rest of the sideline would be regular students... but it looks like there are a lot of visitors coming this weekend that will be at the game and I bet they get one sidedline like in the past 12/6/2005 11:23:36 AM |

Once again, it's time to swallow my pride and beg/borrow/steal someone's SWPC shirt so I can stand where I belong.

For non-student, bowl game tickets...do I need to order them all together in order to get seats together, or is seating determined when you pick up the tickets at Will-Call.
