i wouldn't say that, mostly because the places they're jumping to are different from halo 2. you can still easily shoot at them at most of those points. obviously there will be camping with a shottie or something else up in a small cubby hole, but a majority of those jumps would really just allow shortcuts to points where you would normally have to run along different pathways. this would provide a way to survive attacks or to jump on somebody, but i don't think the moves in the video would be nearly as bad as halo 2 super jumps.

and ^^, the spawn algorithms do need some work, though i realize how hard it would be in the end

^^one of the tactical jumps takes you to the 'sniper' spawn room in the Pit where you can't be killed unless you get hit by lucky grenades. not as much of a exploit as super jumps, but the team that can jump will have some advantages.

I personally think the coolest one was jumping off the exploding mongoose to get higher on...zanzibar or whatever, and the three wall climb from the shot gun room at the very end. Its like free-running now in Halo, ala Ninja Gaiden

You can get in that upper level in the pit by jumping off your teammates head. Whenever someone is camping up there we wait for the rockets to spawn and jump up there; they're usually surprised as fuck.

And why in your post were you talking about assault rifle? Even on non-MLG you should start the game with a battle rifle... otherwise there's no way to long-range fight without relying partially on luck.

ive played in wolves den multiple times, you should know doc and ryan then, they know me. and i was sponsored to go to mlg back in the day for halo 2, we placed top 16 in philly. gamefrog from cary towne center sponsored us.

and i actually went into wolves den the other day to possibly play, but the 12 people or so down there were constantly playing all laser only games and then i left.

and the part about starting with a BR, that is not the case on any of the team slayer maps on xbox live, and i was saying we def. should always start with a BR.

back in the day we would also go to the tournies they held there and would own people, and then we all wanted to see just how far we could go, so we asked them about having us represent them at mlg philly, the owner agreed and we got top 16 with the best teams in the country there, pretty cool stuff. they paid for entry for the tourny which was like 125 maybe, and hotel for 2 nights for all of us and gas to get there, all in all bout 500 dollars paid for.

someone told me about this trick where you change your language to some really weird Chinese language and you can a friend are more likely to get in a match together on FFA, which would really help in being able to get harder achievements...anyone wanna try that for the overkill, double kill w/ laser, triple kill w/ sword, or anything like that?

i've gotten at least 5 double kills with one laser shot but the achievement still doesn't show up. my roommate was playing today and the players were matched up but it was 4 on 3 and some redneck sounding kid on my roommates team was like "aw man, i'm gonna leave so it's a fair fight", and then he left.

yeah...thaz it...I can't find anyone playing FFA that will actually help...all I really need that will be hard to get would be frenzy(only hard b/c I'm level 31 now), double laser kill, sword spree, and overkill, and "maybe next time buddy"...I keep trying to get people to do it on snowbound and get them to meet me at the ghost and no1 is ever there...bastards

I got my frenzy and triple sword kill with invisibility on the pit, just ran around stabbing everyone. Missed overkill by like half a second on three occasions.

This would probably be thanks to the guy playing under the tag of "Ryo"... I think there's numbers on the end, too. Usually it'll just be for one game then we'll return to something normal.

Possibly my bad, never played Halo 3 on Live. I don't even have a 360, actually. I only play it at wolves den between/after classes and such.

what is the easiest way (not excluding camping) to get a killing frenzy...is there any area that, due to terrain could be a little easier to get a killing frenzy than any other...just that people don't abuse b/c of of courtesy? j/w...I really am in dire need of achievements

I thought already about snagging the shotgun in snowbound and camping a specific area around an energy barrier

Kill frenzy is pretty easy to get by waiting till you get a game of King of th Hill in The Pit in Lone Wolves.

Ignore the game's objective and go up to the turrets and just mow people down.

Sometimes someone will catch on to you and launch a grenade or rocket up at you, but I routinely get 10-15 kills in a row doing this. I even got a rampage medal the other day for getting 20 in a row.

The most fun is on Mosh Pit on Rumble Pit in The Pit when the scoring area stays in the central zone. I went 33 and 3 the other night.

People call you an asshole for doing this, but the fun outweighs the poor sportsmanship, IMO.
