A lot of people passed on Bayless ... there might be more than meets the eye with him. He's certainly looked good so far in summer league, but so did Sean May.

i believe the main reason is that last year, sam vincent was the coach and okafor hated playing for him.

I think its because he thought he could have a dominant year and get a max contract or something very close to it

But he came out and just had your average Emeka Okafor season, which is apparently worth 12 million dollars

interesting. i wonder if they have someone in mind they want to go after or if he was just that bad? they passed up some pretty decent people in the 2nd round, so i'd hate for it to be the latter.

Well they signed G Shannon Brown (was with the Cavs/Bulls last year, played college at Mich. St.) last week, so evidently they like him better than Weaver.
