Okay Pack fans, when I moved here I adopted NC State and have suffered through all the pain that you have felt for the past 7.5 years. Do me a solid and route for the Vols in the tourney. The program has never made it to an Elite 8 and no one ever thought they could make it this far. Adopt this team for the rest of the tournament. What's the point in having a rule if it is not enforced?

Lance Thomas was literally standing directly underneath the rim and he still got the charge. That rule is so inconsistently applied they should either put in the half circle or drop the rule.

Ive fallen out of love with the college game over the past few years due to how shitty the play was for most of this decade, but the Cuse/Butler, Xavier/KSU, and Duke/Purdue (thus far) have been three excellent games... maybe the NCAA is making a comeback as a legitimately entertaining sport to follow

its not like that at all.

Duke has three scoring options.

One of them (scheyer) has been ice cold for the last few weeks.

That leaves them with Singler (who is uncanny) and Nolan Smith who is being defended well.


Duke is playing hard as hell they are just a bit unnerved offensively because Purdue is playing great defense and they only have two legit go to options if Scheyer cant hit.

Great game, cant wait for the 2nd half.

actually the nba rule revived college ball.

now that everyone has to attend college for at least one year not only do we get the one and dones, we get the guys who would have gone straight pro but get exposed at the college level that they wouldnt be a 1st rd pick if they went.

Improved the overall level of play tenfold.

Is there a rule somewhere that states that Zoubek can move laterally every screen and not be called for it? That oaf is constantly wrecking people on the move.

Duke looks like they have this. Surprised Purdue hung for this long. Northern Iowa - MSU game is tight though.

wow, kramer got picked so bad and illegally by zubek and noone saw it. Singler's and one shouldn't have counted. Trouble time for PU. Also, a bullshit call earlier when kramer slapped the ball off the dukie and the ref called it OB to Duke.

This Purdue team is not set up to make big comebacks.

I was thinking the same thing -- maybe the ref thought it was different since the Purdue guy wasn't going up for a layup and therefore didn't need a place to land? Only thing I can think of. Still pretty bad, though.
