yeah i love me some pitkanen, but goddamn he has truly been awful lately

i don't think we are going to give him a new contract at his market value, so I certainly wouldn't be unhappy to see us trade him at the deadline. Some teams would give a lot for him, that's for certain.

seriously, between stupid penalties, blown coverages and overall lack of effort he is a liability when hes on the ice at this point. I dont know if his confidence is shot, or if hes really losing his fundamentals, but he doesnt deserve more than 5 minutes a game out there
