As you might imagine I was a little bit of a pain in the ass when I was a kid. My parents liked George Bush so I cheered for Dukakis in 1988.

Both my parents went to UNC, i liked Duke when I was 6 because of Danny Ferry, Robert Brickey, Alaa Abdelnaby, and Phil Henderson. I just wasn't feeling King Rice, Jeff Lebo, or JR cant Reid.

I couldn't find much on the internet about the game but UNC did win 73-71 it looks like. I was pretty sure they did. The only play I remember from the game was a USSR player getting pissed at a foul call and he slammed the ball down as hard as he could and it went like 40 feet in the air. Hilarious technical foul.

The buses come to nearby cities like Greensboro and pick up ~50-75 UNC and drive them to and from the game. It's actually a pretty cool setup, gives people the opportunity to drink wine on the bus and eat cheese spreads and no worries about driving home later.

I probably attended ~10-15 games that way always rooting against UNC. I think people loathed seeing us arrive at the bus haha. The only time off the top of my head I can remember UNC losing was to Georgia Tech when Travis Best scored like 30+ on them in the mid 90's.

I did get to see the Chicago Bulls play there with Jordan in the late 80's which was cool.

And Magic Johnson's last game as a pro before his final comeback was played at the Dean Dome Lakers vs the Cleveland Cavaliers (scheduled because of Brad Daughtery). Coach K was in the stands and i got his autograph (#humblebrag!). That night after the game I believe it was Karl Malone who said he didn't want to play against Magic because he didn't want to catch aids guarding him. So Magic retired. He did make one final comeback a few years later.

No he expects to beat them, he's just gearing up the excuses if he doesn't.

He followed that up with this: But, Williams said, "He's a unique kid and a neat kid. We've thrown him out there a couple of times in big games and he's been fine. He's got a youthful innocence that will help him this week."

Wisconsin looks like they are running a Herb 'potted plant' offense. Everybody pass the ball around the perimeter, with next to no movement inside, and end up having to put up a 3. Absolutely no dribble and drive. Hate it.
