i think the person has read some article which says that the pill messes with the hormones and therefore can cause fake attractions?

for example she likes him now, but should she ever go off the pill (like in the future if they get married and want babies) she will no longer find him attractive at a chemical level or something

the sweaty tshirt he is referencing is that your mates sweat should be attractive to you or something

ah, well you are going to be hard pressed to find a girl you like that isn't on the pill.... and I started using the pill 2 yrs ago and it did not affect my relationship at all, but it is different for everyone.

I have thought about the hormonal attraction/BC thing before, but pretty much resolved that I am not worried enough about falling out of love because of subconscious saliva particulate analysis after I go off BC to worry about it. I know there's a scientific link, but stressing about it seems akin to stressing about the latest food that is going to give you cancer.

when i was on the pill i cried every other night for no reason. and it stopped when i stopped taking the pill. so i assume it was the pill.

my gf wasnt on the pill at first and was a sex crazed maniac.

shes since gone on the pill and acts like a more rational (normal) human being.

we still have a very healthy sex life, so i suppose my message to you is this...

The divorce pill science relates back to whatever subconscious attraction there is between immune systems or some shit - I think it goes past the sweaty t-shirt deal. The bc pill discussion happened to me in high school. My g/f at the time wasn't on bc for the first year we dated and then when she got on bc she all of a sudden started giving me the cold shoulder and never wanted to have sex until the 7 day placebo bc pills were in her system. It could just be a coincidence, but I've always kind of wondered. It was literally like night and day. *shrug*

I have an awesome g/f now, so she has no need to worry about this post.

I've been on BC for like.... 15 years (it was originally for acne) & I have no idea what to expect when info off of it one day

Plus, y'all this shit is bad... Make sure you love the shit out of your wife or anyone you intend to marry. Menopause is a special circle of hell from what I understand. I hope medical science can help ease that shit by the time it's my turn

Or I guess for a lot of people this discussion is now about changes in personality on/off BC, but the confessor was talking about what Peter described, which means she would have had to stop liking you after she went off it. So apparently your immune systems were aligned, or something.
