And the fact that Microsoft doesn't have to run a smear campaign in order to sell their product (considering Vista sold 100 million copies in it's first 12 months, and Mac sold 7.8 million macs in that same time period (meaning Vista out sold Leopard by almost 12 to 1)).

Vista is totally backwards compatible and is slow on computers which were built more than 2 years ago. You really need 2GB of Ram and a decent sized hard drive to run it.

If you try to run Vista on 512MB of Ram then you're just asking for trouble.

What is the purpose of anything new? To improve on what was. It has an improved user interface, improved security, more user friendly, improved search functionality, higher entertainment compatibility, it automatically improves performance, easier set up and restore, I mean really . It does too many things to be listed. But I'm not here to debate the advantages of Vista over XP. People either like it or hate it, and I happen to not have a problem with it. I use it on my home computer, and use XP on my office computer.

And yes- Vista does suck if you're not running a fast machine. Just like XP would suck if you were running a machine with 64 MB of RAM.

I'm thinking about how much I dislike the fact that, despite all my experience and counting and careful treatment, I can't keep my blood sugar from swinging wildly every couple of days. I'm also wondering whether some of these blood sugar things are due to psychological problems, physical issues, or some combination of both. I fucking hate being overwhelmed with shit all the time (life would be better without school, much better, and technically I could drop out and get a job since I already have a degree and do distance ed to complete my non-thesis master's degree). No sympathy in the system for people with whole failed body systems, though.

Fuck it. I quit.
