@ Beethoven : I live in Metuchen NJ - I am picky about salons because I have had several bad experiences (one example: had to switch stylists two weeks before my wedding thanks to uber-crappy service). I was going to a stylist in NYC for the past year and a half, but her prices have gone up, and I can't justify $200-ish for a cut.

Good luck finding one. I drive 1.5 hours to my lady, just because I can trust her, and know she does a good job. It's not like she's expensive, super trained, or anything most people usually seek out. She's just consistent, and thorough, and listens to what I want!!
