i can't stop thinking about the dinner i had last night

this shithouse little hole in the wall, nestled in between a bar with barred up windows, and a trailer park, complete with a parking lot that wasn't paved, but rather just made from discarded oyster shells

front end was actually, a gutted out mobile home. no sign, just you kinda walk in around a patio / bar area.

sat at the bar, bartenders were smoking and drinking beers. probably 12 teeth between them.

right on the water though, and my god, the best oysters ive ever had

this place is kinda legendary, the employees are assholes, the clientele is rough, but the oysters are world fucking class

i had their specialty, which were grilled oysters.. grilled in the shell, over cedar and oak fire. they're grilled with a dab of garlic butter on top, so it kinda lightly butter poaches while grilling. then a garlic pan fried shrimp placed on top of each of the oysters. the smokeyness is upfront and pungent, oysters still creamy and delicious, the shrimp just fantastic.

The horribly frightening dream that just woke me up. Ugghhh.

Something like a bomb went off in my dream while I was laughing and riding in the car with my friend. I woke up *trying* to yell her name. So fucking creepy.

Im not sure which is scarier, the fact that a bomb randomly went off in my dream or a loud noise happened in reality but idk what it was. I think id rather the loud noise have been in reality. Im not much one for terribly violent and desperation type dreams. I do have gory zombie dreams about once a week/two weeks. But there are no sonic booms in those dreams.
