this was the first week...here was the order

1st Pick: Cincy -6 vs NE, TBD
2nd Pick (Me): Ohio State -7 vs Iowa, WIN
3rd Pick: Cincy Bearcats (dont recall spread) vs Miami OH, WIN
4th Pick: Michigan -9.5 @ Minnesota, WIN

so the guy who took the bengals is sweating it today...the pressure is on immediately. If they win, we pocket $270 and essentially have free parlays the rest of the season. If they lose this guy is out 20 bucks next week and will hear it all week

Alright fellas, Im launching another play on Seattle +3.5 tonight.


They dont really need Alexander he isn't the key to that team anyway... he's a good back dont get me wrong but they are still strong offensively without him and Morris doesnt stink at all.

The Bears havent been able to run on anyone, i like Seattle D to dominate them tonight. Grossman should struggle against his first tough defense.

Take the Seahawks. If you take the bears dont whine about it later, thats a dumb bet.

Hasslebeck threw terrible picks and Seattle had ZERO pass rush.

Game isn't over, i still think the Seahawks can pull off a backdoor cover here for me.

Not well.

That's why I aim for 60% and not 100%.

Im not happy with myself obviously. I laid out an easy 2-1 week initially and then tried to sneak in a Jax play that backfired. Then i forced a play on Seattle to make up for the Jax one.

Elite handicappers dont force last minute plays. Theres a reason you didnt take them in the first place.... 2 mistakes and i paid for both of them. Live & learn.

1-1 this week with Phily -11 for tonight, happy with my picks even with San Diego's loss.

Neek week's early lines I am liking...

Buffalo +11 at Chicago.
I think Buffalo's defense is a lot more like Minnesota's then Seattle's - I don't
see this game being high scoring and the Bills should be able to keep it close enough.

Minnesota -6 at home vs Detroit.
Minnesota's offense has been struggling a bit, but then again they've been facing tougher defenses then the dream-crushed Lions. That said, Detoit will sneak a suprise win in sometime in the next few weeks, but as long as I can dodge that whammy Minnesota should be fine.

San Diego -3.5 at home vs Pittsburgh.
Even though they let me down at the end this week vs Baltimore, they played well in the game, and I think Baltimore may even have a better offense then Pittsburgh at this point with Ben's struggles, and certainly they have the better defense. So San Diego should bounce back with a win.

Kansas City -3 at Arizona
Can't expect too much out of Lienart in his first start, and Huard is playing better and won't face too much resistance against a Cardinal Defense allowing 144 rushing yards a game.
