no, alcapulco gold is supposedly very potent. but the weed your parents and grandparents smoked back in the day wasnt in the form of buds, it is more like scattered flowers along the main rachis so when it is harvest it looks like some reggie, but with visible trichromes. lambsbreath is another "old school" variety that has retained a little more popularity, but is very "stringy" and neither are popular today because they don't have much bag appeal.
