^^it's not like i was working 2 jobs, ~17 hrs/day. you're right, i should have remembered and made it a priority to vote for one of two people i don't really like. and no, it wasn't 3 months - more like 2. the campaigns really took off and i took notice about the time VPs were selected (sarah palin was announced at the end of august...about the time i was moving.

Voter registration literally takes 15 minutes of your time. I doubt you were that busy.

I don't want to harp on this, but if 85 year old people in rest homes and single mothers of three can manage it to register and make it to the polls, you should be able to.

because i don't like to ignore people - the point of this thread is to respond to other people's posts. it's not that i'm pissed off, it's just that i don't like spreading my business (on tww or elsewhere - although unfortunately there are some people who do it for me) so when i give an answer and people question me and it's not good enough, it's annoying. why ask a question if you're not going to be satisfied with my answer? why not just answer it yourself? plus i don't like being grouped into a category (of lazy worthless people, for example) unfairly.


oh, and maybe you're pissed off so you're just reading it in an angry tone

Heather, please stop making excuses. Just say you don't care about voting. Because if you truly cared you could have gotten it done quite easy. It is clear you have found ways to handle other things in your life, so please stop making excuses for this one. The fact that you didn't care to keep up with the dates or ways to have your registration changes, or even ways to do an absentee ballot since you knew you were moving away from Wilmington doesn't count.

So just say you don't care about voting.

i am registered to vote. i was supposed to be able to go home to vote. my license got suspended on the 16th, two days after the deadline to register somewhere else. don't judge me or falsely categorize me without knowing me.
