yeah, in hindsight it's an easy pick, but that pick today was the epitome of 50/50 if you ask me. (given the way germany had been playing.) actually probably more like 60/40 in favor of germany in my mind. spain had been playing well enough to win, but hadn't been winning convincingly like germany.
