Mark's maniacs or whatever is too obvious a ripoff of the Cameron Crazies...

The Gottfather is cool, but will only last as long as he does. I think he's credible, and I'm certainly behind him 100%, but I don't want to put my eggs in that basket until he's been here for 12 years and won us something worth talking about.


edit: Also, the wolves den is retarded. It describes the area, but not the people. The people don't make up the wolves den, they sit in the wolves den. The people ARE The Red Terror

The "I Believe" chant has been done at Temple long before Utah State did it. The proper way to do it is at the end of a game that you know u are going to win. When done that way it rubs it in the face of the opposing team that they just got beat.

Red Terrors. Theyll probably get some complaints (OMg TERRORiSTS!!!) but it's got solid NCST history on its side.

Except for games played in Reynolds, of course. Reynolds Rowdies will do just fine there.

I just always thought it would cool if we incorporated a wolf howl into a chant of ours. Been surprised that there isn't one.

1.) Bring back 'you suck' chant during intros
2.) Don't copy other schools' chants

i.e. some people at NCSU football games use the 'move those chains' chant for first downs, which has been overplayed in many stadiums. i'm trying to get my section to do: wolfpack wolfpack hoo hoo hoo

^x4 my brother and i went down to jacksonville fla for the bills game a couple years ago. the move those chains chant is something we still laugh about. it was the lamest chant and they actually had shirts with it on the back written like four times. please tell me we arent using this at state games

I still stand beside my idea of calling the student section the funky bunch. The intro music and all of the stuff played during time-outs would obviously be by Marky Mark & the funky bunch.

Of course for this to really have the full effect, coach Marky Mark would have to coach shirtless.
