Nothing to worry about. Their bench can easily replace the best player on their team.

They've won a ton since January in games that Bale hasn't scored in.

Yeah, true that. I actually forgot he was even on the team with how much the rest of the team was stepping up and winning games instead of him.

Adebayor played decently today and I think Sigurdsson might have a big part to play in the last couple games. We're definitely up against it but I'm staying positive. Chelsea have to play about 20 games in the next month and I'm not expecting Arsenal to blow anyone away either.

^^^^ Arsenal is 7-1-1 in the last 9 prem games. And have an easy run-in. While they may not blow people away they are playing well at the right time.

If Bale is back I can see Spurs/Arsenal 3rd and 4th in whatever order and Chelsea in Europa.

^^ no mirallas either. He was one of the players that really gave spurs trouble at goodison earlier this season.

Good chance it comes down to the last match day to decide all 3 places

Spurs play Sunderland at WHL

Arse play Newcastle at St James

Chelsea play Everton at Stamford Bridge

[Edited on April 5, 2013 at 5:01 PM. Reason : ^ we had that match and they scored twice in the dying moments iirc. revenge on the brain.]

Yeah I remember that. Jelavic on that ridiculous long ball to win I think. Can't remember who scored for Everton right before that. Maybe baines or osman. Leaky old bill was probably in the back line that day.

Just looked, pienaar and jelavic scored within a minute if each other.

Arsenal are 12 up on Spurs in GD? Wtf.

Huge for Spurs to get 3 tmw. If not good chance they are fifth by next Saturday.

Everton will be tough but its at home I can see the spurs winning that. Arsenal have the easiest run in out of Spurs and Chelsea (who have to play each other). By the time Arsenal play United the title may be over and will benefit them at home. Arsenal will finish third and the winner of spurs and chelsea will most likely get 4th (I believe that will be Tottenham). Chelsea's away form is shambolic and they have way to many fixtures.

Nice. Draw might be optimal. With Evertons run in that probably kills there top four chances.

Barring a total choke job at home to Norwich, Arsenal is top four after 32 games.

City have a psychological edge for next season though.

When you lose the title to your rivals by double digit points, I think the winners have the psychological advantage.

they said the same thing about 6-1 at OT and a stoppage time goal to win the title for the first time in 30+ years going into this season

Don't want to sound like face, but we're limping our way to the title. Lets hope RvP gets his form back.

only two goals allowed since Jan. in the league. I don't see it as limping.

Do agree about RVP though, these last 13 games make Torre's goal record look like messi

won 25 of our first 30. only barca and bayern have gotten more points from that number. we haven't made it look pretty but to be where we are with the team we've got is unbelievable.

let's see mancini win anything having to play ashley young and tony v.

Ashley Young cost £16M and all the United fans were calling Valencia the best player in the world at his position in 2012. Lets not act like they are winning with 11 scrubs out there...

i only remember kiljadn calling him that. he's a one-dimensional player and his one-dimension took defenders longer than it should have to figure out. ashley young would be more effective if he was played in the middle, but out on the left all he does is kill our attacks. so to recap, our only true winger is garbage, and the only player that plays well out wide is welbeck but that's only b/c of his pace and tracking back. i'd even love to have the shenanigans of nani back in the team but he's been injured pretty much the entire year or some shit.

Nym410.

United is far from a team about money. We replenish our team when needed (unlike Arsenal) and we do it well within our means. City has spent billions and are 12 points behind. Apparently to a team that according to everyone but United fans is terrible. Despite the fact that we are setting records. We lost the battle, ok. We are going to win the war though. City can have this. If they think its going to be any easier next year, then they will be in for a surprise again. As long as Sir Alex is at the helm, City will never walk to the title like we are right now. They are still just noisy neighbors, will be in our shadows for a very long time.

PS: Valencia was incredibly good this time last year, is that even debatable?

That's what United lack. A controlling midfielder. Darren Fletcher as a box to box mid is sorely missed in the line up. Yaya Toure was the difference last night. I have to criticize Sir Alex for last night's loss. United's best performances have come when Cleverley and Anderson have paired with Carrick. Why then did we start Giggs? I admit Giggs was fantastic against Madrid but he should have been off around the 60 minute mark last night. Giggs played well, no doubt, but we couldn't keep the ball. Taking Rooney off was the right call but one made too late and for the wrong player. Van Persie has been struggling to score but he has also had a lack of quality service. This RVP and Rooney conundrum is getting annoying now. United have the ability to play an interchanging attack but we need that commanding midfielder in order to make it work. The Rooney and RVP partnership only works when we control the midfield. I really hope we make that our number 1 priority this summer. Its been far too long and is the only missing link between us and European glory. Can't keep relying on Giggs.

How are you guys still not familiar with Sir Alex's deflection tactics? He does it to draw attention away from his team. You may call it classless but every manager does it, Sir Alex gets more attention when he does it.
