Kentucky looked pretty good in the SEC tournament and really good against Florida in the finals...the overall #1 seed. They've got great talent and if they can keep playing like this, I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run in the tournament.

LOL! Wisconsin Green Bay lost 80-65 at home vs Belmont in the NIT. A lot of the experts thought they should have been one of the teams picked for the NCAAs over us. Any team from their league should be thankful to get a NIT spot and actually take it serious.

7'6" freshman from Senegal who's got 4 points while mostly matching up against a dude who's 6'9". Granted, he's pulled down like 6 rebounds and forced that guy to shoot like 20%, but I still would have expected that 9" advantage to help him score a few more.

both these teams look turrible though. SMU shooting ~30% and UC Irvine has 13 turnovers

Green Bay's best player, horizon player of the year Keifer Sykes, was out injured. He is essentially the whole team (we can sympathize here). Sykes was injured early in their conference tournament loss, and came back in but wasn't 100%. I thought green bay had earned a spot, but only if Sykes was going to play. Without him, what's the point.

Also no one should take the NIT "serious."
