Warren: He really let me know that I would fit their system really well. They really just want me to get out and score, because that is what I do. They want me to score the basketball at a high level. They want me to come in and dominate that conference. Basically they just want me to be me. PackInsider: You told us before that you wouldn’t take an official visit to NC State because you knew everything about the school. Why did you decide to take one of your officials to NC State? Warren: I just think they deserved it because they were at every event this summer, and they were just on me hard from the get go. Soon as they could come out and watch me play, I would look up in the stands and I saw the whole coaching staff. They made me a #1 priority. That’s why they deserved an official visit from me. PackInsider: How hard has the NC State staff recruited you? Warren: As soon as Coach Gottfried and his staff got the job they were recruiting really hard, and it’s a blessing that I was one of them. They’re just a hard working staff. They want to turn that program around and get NC State back where it needs to be, competing for a National Championship. So, the hard work that I’m doing now is really going to pay off. PackInsider: So after this visit, where are you at in regards to your overall recruitment? Warren: Right now I’m just taking visits, and trying to get all the information on different schools. I’m just trying to see where I can fit in at. PackInsider: Do you have a timetable of when you’d like to make your decision? Warren: It could be a surprise. I just don’t know right now. PackInsider: Is there a team that stands out right now? Or a couple of teams? Warren: I would say NC State is pretty much standing out after that visit. PackInsider: Your friends Tyler Lewis and Rodney Purvis have both mentioned that it would be exciting to play alongside of you, representing North Carolina. Is this something that you talk about with them? Warren: We talk about it all the time. We want to get out there and show off our potential. We talk about being hometown heroes. "
