^^^i'm seriously trying to figure out what the argument is. That Sid should have been fired after the 2nd season? Or if Sid is "credible"? B/c if its the latter, I don't think there are many "ardent Lowe supporters" anymore. I still support him b/c he's our coach right now, and the team is still playing. In addition, he's a NCState legend. And yeah, he seems like a cool guy. All that said, i wouldn't be surprised if he is gone after this season, and I'd understand why, and realize it could be the best thing for the program. But we'll have to wait a few years before we know the results of that decision.

and most of my posts are usually directed at the lunatic fringe (yeah, it fits, but that shouldn't be misconstrued as LF or HS support), represented nicely by a handful of regular posters on here.

You people defending Lowe are fucking retarded. He is a great guy and was an awesome player that will forever be revered at this school. That being said, he is a shitty basketball coach. Don't forget that he wasn't even on the coaching radar and we only got stuck with him because Jed was an even bigger fuck up. But we did end up with him and have given him 5 seasons to prove that he was worth the risk. He has done nothing that would warrant keeping him. In all honesty, he should have been gone after last season, but was given one more year just so that the argument of "he needs his guys" could be totally checked out. He has his guys now and the team still blows. He deserves to be called out for that shit. Why should he be treated with kid gloves? Is the man gonna break? Is he not going to be able to study film because he is too broken up because some people on TWW talked shit about him? Grow up. Those of you defending him probably look back fondly on the Sendek years and he sucked as well.

Hopefully, Debbie Yow will do what Jed never did and do whatever it takes to get a decent, proven coach in here. (Not saying it has to be one of the pie in the sky guys like Barnes or Wright, but someone that isn't afraid, isn't willing to settle, and actually has some decent experience as a HC) Because of Lowe's unremarkable performance I think we (as fans) have every right to start these discussions now.
