Medicaid should be a stepping stone or a steady hand when you need it not a lifetime dependence...the way I see it I'm a great investement...in 2 years I will be off the system while everyone else in that office will stay on it, clogging up aid available, producing even more useless people in our society...but no I can't get medicaid..why? because I don't look Mexican enough..or I don't smoke enough crack or I'm not lazy enough to not have a job..because those are the only people they think deserve to get help from the government..from our tax money..Peter and I both pay medicare tax out of our paychecks to cover all of those illegal immigrants I just sat next to...letting their kids run crazy (about 5 of them) pregnant with the 6th just so they can stay in this country...but who would blame them...they get free housing, free food, don't have to pay bills....and they live better than in their country...We need to help the people in our country first!
Yes I'm obviously pissed and ranting because I know for a fact if I was in another county I would have already received prenatal medicaid....Raleigh is consumed and overwhelmed with people sucking off the government that don't even fucking belong here
Where should I turn? I'm four months pregnant without a single prenatal visit! Well I think I'm four months---I wouldn't have a way to know otherwise because I'm a college student whose parents can't provide for themselves let alone me and the government denies my need because I work and am trying to make a damn out of myself. The process is so fucked up obviously I won't be working in a sunglass kiosk when my belly can touch the other end of the counter! Obviously I want to be able to stay home with my child after birth and can't work...did they think about that? No...that is not there job...they just calculate numbers, fill out forms, and abide by government protocol.
