ok, so, i requested during the request period...now when i go to claim it just says that there are no more tickets available. When i click on the link it says in bold yellow letters, "Request a Ticket". Under that it says "No more tickets available" W T F. I'm seriously pissed about this. I requested my ticket and a guest ticket for my date during the request period just like everyone else. The tough thing is that there is no one i can call or reason with because it's this stupid only BS. I never received another email from these people like the first email said. Stupid shit is ruining my plans.

All you can do for now is sit tight and give the ticket office a call when they open again, or wait till the on-demand period starts and see if it will give you two tickets then. I would be very suprised if all the tickets have been given out and there is none left.

Does the ticket office open up tomorrow? If not, when? Is it really possible that all the student tickets were given out and I just happened to lose the lottery? I wouldn't think so over Christmas break. It is very urgent that I attend this game.

I'm not sure when the ticket office opens, just try calling there tomorrow. If they aren't open I would think there would be a message saying when they open again. But I would think they would be, and they should def. be open on tuesday since will call for the bowl game starts tuesday.

As for the tickets all being gone . . . if when you click on "Your Tickets" it says that you were selected in lottery 1, then you should have a ticket. The system shouldn't give them away. And the only people that can claim a ticket right now are people that won in the lottery. It wouldn't select more winners than available tickets. And it seems that you were having problems before I claimed my tickets, and it worked just fine for me. So they wouldn't have been all given out when you were trying to claim them.

If nothing else, I would think there will be regular tickets still for sale at the box office on the day of the game. A lot of the old people won't want to be in raleigh that late and then have to drive to charlotte.

i'm having the same problem with claiming my ticket for the GW game. under "your tickets" it says that i requested one and when i did, that is it. i never got an email saying anything one way or the other and obviously it says the "no more tickets available" thing when i click on request/claim ticket. don't really know what this is all about.

Well, I just went back and checked under "Your Tickets." Only says I requested, nothing about being selected. I guess i'm just dumbfounded, and quite frankly I find it a little hard to believe, that so many students requested a ticket to this game that I lost the lottery. It just seems fishy, especially when they were offering up to 9 guest tickets with each student ticket. You mean to tell me that all student tickets are taken AND 9 guest tickets for every student is also unavailable? Just doesn't add up.

What seems fishy? They don't reserve a student ticket and 9 guest tickets for every person. If you request a student ticket and 2 guest tickets, then if you win in the lottery it reserves those 3 tickets during the claim period. If you do not claim them during the claim period, then they become available for anyone to claim during the on-demand period.

This is a game against a top 15 program, maybe top 10 quality. During pre January games, athletics doesn't give out as many student tickets as they do for a regular ACC game. For ACC games, they give out seats to sections 312-317, 110-113, and the majority of the floor level seats. These games have basically the floor level seats and maybe some from 110-113. It is very possible that more people requested tickets than were available. But when this has happened thus far, athletics has opened more seats.

Like I said previously . . . it is highly unlikely that everyone that requested a ticket claimed them, so wait for the on-demand period to start and then try to get them.

And look under "Your Tickets". Does it just say that you requested a ticket or that you requested a ticket and were selected in lottery 1? If it just says that you requested a ticket, chances are that you didn't win one.

If you mean for the NH game or the GW game (since the request period has passed for both), your options are to try to request tickets at the same time during on-demand or to just go with seats away from each other and sit in some empty seats that are together.

If you mean for UNC-G, then one of you needs to go to "Student Information" and click the box to be a group leader. That person needs to sign up for tickets first and enter their unity id in the group leader box on the request page. Then the rest of you can request tickets and enter his unity id. This will only give you seats together if you win in the lottery. And if you do win, you must claim your tickets during the claim period if you want them to be together, otherwise they will be best available at the time.

and there's no such thing as a GA ticket for the bowl game, that's just a temp voucher you have that you trade in for an assigned ticket (BofA Stadium does not allow GA sections/seats)

^Read the thread. During the claim period, did it just say under "Your Tickets" that you requested a ticket or that you requested a ticket and won. If it didn't say that you won, then you didn't. It doesn't matter if you request one if you don't win in the lottery. And even if you do win, you are only guaranteed a ticket during the claim period. Once the claim period is over and on-demand period starts, then it is first come, first served.

has worked for everyone that i talked to that won. like i have said 3 times, it doesn't let you claim them during the claim period if you don't win in the lottery. and it saying "you requested a ticket" is not the same as it saying "you requested a ticket and were selected in the lottery". If you won, it says that you won or were selected. If it doesn't say that, then you didn't win.

but like said before . . . if you believe you won and were supposed to be able to get a ticket and weren't able to for whatever reason, then call the ticket office in the morning to see if they can straighten it out.

if they can't, then you can always keep trying the system. If someone cancels their ticket, it becomes available in the system for someone else to claim.

i wouldn't think it was set for 50%. i would guess they just said $5 which just happens to be 50% of the ticket cost. i would hope that the processing fee would still be $5 if / when guest tickets cost more. I think they cost more to ACC games, but don't remember and could be wrong.
