Except that Biron asked for it...it'd be different if Ray Emery had gone down and ripped Biron's mask off, Cam Ward-style. Emery pounded Biron, let him up, and was done, and Peters came in. That's a classic third man penalty.

man that game last night was brutal. You could feel the life sucked out of the place when Philly got it to OT, but to the fans credit they responded after the Tie up and in the start of OT.

Seriously tho, this type of play, in which the Canes are playing 1 or 2 periods at the most in a game, is not going to get us into the playoffs.

And if it did, we would be destroyed by the #1/#2 seeds. Seeing as we cant get higher than #7/#8 for the life of us.


Now that Carter deal, is essientally something for free. Hopefully his presence can shake up the mix against opponents in these last 20 games. However while I hate to see draft picks go...gods know we need them...atleast it was only a 5th rounder.

Once you're in the playoffs, the regular season is meaningless.

Still in 8th, and just four points out of 3rd. That's all that matters.

Oh yea i was there too, BEST GAME OF MY LIFE. it was awesome that everyone actually stood the whole time. I spent way too much money on the whole playoff run. game 5 finals was the biggest rip though, blew $300 for that shit. thought we'd win in 5 but noooooooo, fucking canes give up a shorty...freakin ridiculous. i didn't mind losin game 6 though to bring it back home for the win

If they had done the playoff billing last year like they've done it this year, I wouldn't have missed those three games.



Back in '02 I had tickets to all the games I was in town for except Game 4 of the Finals, but I think I got my money's worth with Game 3. I also sat in the ESA for all the away games...I'll never forget what it was like in there during the Molson Miracle as well as the party that erupted during Theodore's subsequent meltdown.
