some people break out the guitar hero when friends come over, others break out halo. you can also play halo online with your buddies and have a good time.

^^Were you the team that played construct every map they could? Brandon was telling me how we needed to start playing that more in Wolves Den now (presumably because he wants to get better at it)... for whatever reason half of the people down there seem to hate it. Personally, I like the map, but people just don't know how to play it.

I keep finding myself starting up halo to play online, but then I stumble into forge mode for a few hours and make maps that have a ton of explosions.... Then I play big team battle, almost always on sandlot, then I go to bed Forge mode just amazes me every time...

i finally got all achievements... kill frenzy was the last one i needed, and for a damn long time too. i got it on crazy king with pretty much just the sniper rifle... after the game, nearly everyone in the room was cussing my ass out. this one guy was sooo pissed, and amazingly enough, about 2 hours later we crossed paths again in social BTB... he continued his tirade when he saw me in the room, lol

we kept playing construct b/c the other people obviously liked the pit, and the way they had it set up, one team got choice of map and the other got host. if we had to pick a map, it was smart to pick a map that isnt their favorite. also in my opinion, the only maps that can truly use teamwork (out of the mlg ones from the wolves den tournament) was construct and the pit.

^^^Narrows has a pretty good teamwork dynamic, and Isolation is good for that, too, albeit a more range-based teamwork.

Personally I don't get what the people at Wolves Den like so much about the Pit. The MLG map of it is basically just a race to see who can control the power weapons for the longest amount of time. I don't mind playing it, it's just boring compared to Narrows or (my personal favorite) Epitaph. Those have power weapons on them as well, but they're not quite so dominant as on the Pit.

i really want to get level 50 legit. every one else just boosts up to 50. and in team slayer i always get garbage teammates, so im only level 34. But i am 45 in lone wolves, where i only need myself. my gamertag is wildman18drew if any body wants to play. i usually play a lot on the weekends.

I played team slayer for 4 hours straight last night and lost EVERY round. One match I had 41 of my team's 43 kills, but my Exp and rank don't increase because I'm on the losing team. In fact I LOST 4 Exp from that whole endeavor.

^ big team slayer on sand trap is one of my favorite game types. if you get the laser right off the bat you can get a quick 5 kills from people driving the vehicles over to your side.

one of the best feelings ive had playing so far is on last resort when someone from the other team got way up on the top of the side opposite the base (by jumping up the arch by the beach) and was getting ready to pick off my team by camping out up there

and i was over by the sniper rifle on the base side, so i picked that bitch up and scoped him, just as he was lining up a shot in my direction and BAM took him out. felt like that scene in saving private ryan, sniper v. sniper

there are two snipers on last resort... one on the wall by the beach, and a second one in that base thing over on the right side of the map if you were standing at the big base and looking toward the beach.
