^^^ last i checked Dino had been on the coaching staff since Prosser came to Wake. you'd think he'd be helping to coach defense to the team even as an assistant coach.

The difference this year is that Dino has emphasized defense since preseason practice started, rather than offense (like Skip did).

Well if I had as young a team as that Wake team I would be emphasizing defense from the get go too. Usually you can't rely on most young players to have consistent offensive games (save the freshman phenoms like Beasley), so you get them to play hard on the defensive side so that you are still in games even when you don't have good shooting nights.

Watching this Louisville game, it's amazing how the best coaches in the country seem to ALWAYS have their team playing at it's highest level at the end of the year. Pitino, K (Acc tourney's for example), Izzo, Calhoun, etc... these teams seem to always be peaking late February into March...

It's like clockwork every year it seems...

^ you think Wake exposed some major weaknesses? Miami has gone right in the paint and used their size and athleticism to either go up over the Duke "bigs" or pull up before getting to them. Paulus is a much improved offensive player but is still a huge liability against athletic guards.
