true. Tate has looked decent tho and with maroney getting in the mix in Denver could have been decent.

but i see your point, plus i would have to drop a player and I dont wish to do that.

I know I just rabble on in this forum without ever offering help in return, but all I really know is contained on whichever blog or rotosite I choose to follow that week. That said, I have no idea how much value to place on Vick, but I need to do something or else I'm going to be wasting QBs every week. This guy is starting Mark Sanchez with Favre on BN and is absolutely stacked at WR, but rejected my offer without a counter. Trying to get Andre Johnson was probably a stretch, but I certainly don't want a chump either. How unfair is getting an elite RB/WR for him?

It's non-ppr and slightly adjusted scoring that favors a good qb. 20 passing yd/point and 6 points for passing TD. -2 for INT.

Ok- in the event that Steven Jackson does not play this weekend, who should I play as my second running back: Beanie Wells or Tolbert (their teams are playing each other this week)

Wells looked pretty good this weekend for his first week back, and tolbert didn't really impress me- then again, he was going against seattle and this week is going against a crappy arizona defense

^on a similar note, who should I play Steven Jackson or Ryan Matthews (both coming off injuries, Ryan seems healthier *full practice, while Steven would put up more points if he plays... also my league sucks, 3 RB limit and have to play 2)

^I'd go with Beanie

My RB options stink for this week.

Please tell me which 2 to start (assuming Pierre Thomas and Steven Jackson are out):

Chris Ivory vs Carolina
Kenneth Darby vs Seattle
Mike Tolbert vs Arizona
Brandon Jackson vs Detroit

^^ I would just watch the status come gametime. If Jackson DOES play, play him. I bet the Chargers will bring back Matthews pretty slow. However, if Jackson doesn't play, well that's easy.

^Jackson definitely. Not sure about the other one. Just depends on who plays

What about this one for defense:
Seattle vs. Rams OR
Eagles vs. Redskins

j. kuhn looks like he is going to get most of the carries for the packers. plus the lions have a decent d-line. thats why i wouldn't choose jackson

Adrian Peterson is on a bye week for me this week......and i have Jahvid Best and Benjarvus Green-Ellis to replace him......the thing is, Best is injured and a game-time decision....so im not sure if i should just keep him in and hope for the best, or go ahead and plug Green-Ellis in

its cool twista, i wasn't really expecting advice so soon.....just a bad time for Best to have an injury....luckily it looks as though Green-Ellis is gonna be the "main" carrier of the ball for the Patriots after getting rid of maroney

Ryan Mathews/ Tolbert vs AZ

PPR or non-PPR? I'd stay away from Spiller this week

And I'd probably stay away from CalvinJr unless Stafford is back

If its PPR, I'd probably go Colston, if its non-PPR AND if Matthews is questionable on Saturday, I'd probably run Tolbert

my buddy accepted my trade offer

Sending:
T. Owens
H. Miller
C.J. Spiller

Receiving:

MJD
Gonzo

I'm pretty happy with it. Rest of my starters are P. Riv, R. Brown, B. Jackson, A. Johnson, C. Johnson, Gaffney, Philly D. and a kicker that I rotate out every week.

Id wouldnt be shocked if the panthers offense never shows up this year. And mike goodson is getting equal carries with JStew after DeAngelo.

Greene is on a good team and is only one injury away from being the man. Plus LT is older and has always been injury prone...

Thanks, that is kinda what I've been thinking. But Seattle's run defense is much better than Carolina's. Saints vs Panthers should be a blowout for New Orleans. I'm thinking that Ivory will be in line for a lot of goal line touches. Same with Tolbert against Arizona. Darby looks enticing, just not in that particular matchup with Seattle's nasty run D.

I think I'll go with Ivory and Tolbert. At the least, they should both get a touchdown or 2.

Brandon Jackson
Laurence Maroney

I'd probably go with Jackson this week against the Lions

A couple questions:

Nate Washington or Laurence Maroney?

Pick one to start and one to drop from team: Mario Manningham, Michael Bush, Marshawn Lynch

Maroney and Manningham??(those are tough) I'd say drop Lynch, but he could get traded to GB.

Palmer @ CLE or Orton @ TEN????

^^I would drop manningham and hold onto Lynch. It sounds more and more likely that the Packers will made a move to try and get Lynch, which would boost his value exponentially. I would also start Lynch this week as he is the #1 RB on the Bills, so even though its a brutal matchup, he will at least get many opportunities to make something happen. Bush is still getting worked into the mix, I think he only had like 3 carries last week, so you cant start him until he does something to prove he's going to produce for you.

^Palmer has looked terrible lately, but I have to think if hes going to turn it around he will do it this week against Cleveland. He's got too many weapons, he's gotta break out of the slump sometime

HELP ME OUT!

Pick 2 RB, 0.5 ppr league:
Ray Rice @ Pitt
Cedric Benson @ Cle
Justin Forsett @ StL

Pick 1 WR, non-ppr league: (my other WR are Randy Moss and Roddy White)
Santana Moss @ Philly
Malcolm Floyd vs. Arizona

Pick 2 WR, non-ppr league: (my other WR is Roddy White)
Donald Driver vs. Det
Michael Crabtree @ Atl
Mark Clayton vs. Sea
Malcolm Floyd vs. Ari
----or I could put in a waiver request to pick up T.O.

^I would go with Benson. Pitt's defense has been killing it and Benson is just a better play than Forsett.

Go with Floyd vs Arizona's crappy pass defense.

And take Driver and Floyd in your other league. I think a lot of your receivers are pretty equivalent, so I am mainly looking at match ups.

I'm guessing you are already assuming Ray Rice is starting in the first league? I'm definitely gonna start Benson, but I'm having a tough time with Ray Rice at Pittsburgh. Rice is banged up and is playing against a Steelers defense that is playing out of its mind right now, while Forsett is going against the Rams.

normally its a no-brainer to start Rice over Forsett, but this week is a tough decision

Sorry, read that as pick one RB.

I agree, normally you gotta go with your studs, but I think there is too much potential for Forsett, especially with how well he played last week and how terrible STL's defense is. I would go with Forsett as your other RB.

I got RB problems, too. Should I go with B Wells @SD or Lynch v NYJ?

the StL D hasn't allowed more than 17 points yet this season...Granted the competition hasn't been spectacular, but I wouldn't call their D terrible.

^^True, but they are giving up 133 yards/game rushing, which is pretty terrible, especially considering who their opponents were. And when you are looking at which RB to play I would probably focus more on the rushing defense.

Forsett also got 17 carries last weekend while the other guys combined for 1. Looks like he is going to start getting the bulk of the carries. I expect him to start putting up some numbers.

^^i think you can expect him to get 2 our of every 3 goal line carries (if the opportunities are there at least). Mathews still isnt 100% and fumbled alot to start the season.

Have a trade on the table where I think I'm getting a steal but I'd like some second opinions

I give up:

Carson Palmer
Deangelo Williams
Jason Witten
Devery Henderson

I get:
Ray Rice
Dallas Clark
Malcom Floyd

BTW On my team I have Peyton and Vick so I'm trying to Bolster WR and RB. Henderson is either feast or famine so I think Floyd will be a little more consistent.

Thoughts?

The panthers are awful so that hurts williams

You dont need palmer

Floyd is a huge upgrade over henderson

TEs are a push i guess. But you could double up now since you have peyton

thats a great trade for you, Palmer and Henderson are throwaway players for you. Youre basically giving up 2 starters and getting 3 in return. Floyd is looking really good so far this year, and I have to think he'll just continue to get better as he gets used to the #1 WR role. Dallas Clark is an upgrade from Witten, Rice is an upgrade from Deangelo. You win that trade hands down

yeah poor guy is awful at QB so he has to take a chance on Palmer getting back to good so I could force a little bit more on my way

but he's not making out too bad since witten isn't a bad drop from clark, just kinda depends who's lucky enough to get the balls thrown in a week. Plus he's stocked at rb with Best and a few others.
