NC State 31, Florida State 28 (OT) -- This is the biggest game the Wolfpack have played in years, and it’s an upset in the making. The Carter-Finely crowd will make for a great atmosphere, and quarterback Russell Wilson will be the difference. Linebackers Audie Cole and Nate Irving will help slow down the running game, and FSU quarterback Christian Ponder will be forced into a costly turnover.

I find it eerily close to what happened.

I love Chuck. Loved his enthusiasm and passion for State, but we were terrible at the end of his tenure. Penalties, stupid mistakes, bad players, bad coaching, etc.

no, i wish we could have integrated him into our system somewhere, even if he wasn't head coach. I know that's not very common, even in business.

But I liked the guy, and the fact that it was his "dream job". I think he would have been a good ambassador for the school in some aspect.

I wish him well at F$U, except when he plays us.

WHOOO!!! Just got back from Fox and Hound in Center City Philly. Watched the game with some NC State friends and some random FSU fans having a viewing party. They were very gracious after the game. One FSU guy behind me though toward the end was like, "we're coming off a bye week. We should be killing these guys." I nearly turned around and pointed out that we were also coming off a bye week and that last years game went down to the wire as well, but another play was about to go off so I forgot about it. There's just something about seeing the opposing teams fans hanging their heads afterwards. It's a good sight to see.

^^ 4-year graduation rate for the general student body is pretty low, too. 50% or so.

We don't have as many fake classes and majors as unc or duke that cater to athletes

I don't care how beneficial it would be for us, I can't bring myself to pull for the Holes. We are in a no lose situation though...UNC loses and that's fun for us. FSU loses and it helps us in the division. Of course we have to take care of business vs Clemson. I guess there's a difference in rooting for UNC to win and rooting for FSU to lose though.

And that Chuck shirt is funny. I still like Chuck.

man that was fucking awesome, in ten years of those fucking torturous games i cant really recall a better win other than against UNC.

Our o-line played great i cant believe how well we were able to run the ball. Also it helps that Moose is an absolute machine.

I thought our defense played pretty damn well all things considered.

I cant believe we won like that...


I dont know that I can cheer for UNC next week but i hope they win i guess, it'd be ridiculously tough for us to win out and a shot at an ACC title is just too huge for us especially with our shitty recruiting class coming in.

eerily similar ending to the Colorado - UGa game this season. You knew it should have been over (UGa was in field goal range, down by 2, FSU 1st and goal, down by 4) and then the one thing that the Qb cannot do, he does.
